Idaho Man Identified as Second Plane Crash Victim



WARREN COUNTY, Iowa — Officials in Warren County have released the name of the second victim in a deadly plane crash that happened last week.

The accident occurred Friday morning near Laverty Field, a private airstrip near Indianola.

Authorities say the pilot was practicing take offs and landings when the plane went down and burst into flames. Both people on board were killed.

This weekend police released the name of one victim — Alex Winter, 22, of Indianola.

Wednesday the Warren County Sheriff’s Office released the name of the crash’s second victim. Neil Jackson, 23, of Jerome, Idaho also died in the crash.

The investigation into what caused the crash is still ongoing by the NTSB and the FAA.
