Iowa State Offensive Lineman Jake Campos Out Indefinitely

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State was already thin on the offensive line. Now, the Cyclones will be without their leader and most experienced lineman.

Junior Jake Campos is out indefinitely and will likely miss the entire season with a leg injury.

"Jake Campos suffered a lower leg injury yesterday in practice. He is out indefinitely and there is no timeline on his return," said Iowa State head football coach Matt Campbell.

Campos has 23 starts in his career at Iowa State, which is more than all other lineman combined. Campos is a graduate of West Des Moines Valley.

The Cyclones open up the season Sept. 3 at home against UNI.
