WEST DES MOINES, Iowa – West Des Moines residents are urged to stay out of Jordan Creek after a sewage leak was discovered Wednesday.
It happened near the intersection of E.P. True Parkway and Jordan Creek Parkway. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources estimates nearly 3,000 gallons of raw sewage leaked into Jordan Creek during a five-hour period before the pipe was blocked.
