DES MOINES, Iowa — Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence spent some time at the Iowa State Fair over the weekend and Monday he’ll be back in the state.

Saturday Pence visited the Iowa State Fair and worked to convince Iowans he and running mate Donald Trump are the best choice to lead the country. While he was there, he stopped by our Channel 13 booth and cast his kernel.

Monday, he heads back to Iowa for a campaign stop in the eastern part of the state.

Pence will speak in Cedar Rapids at Modern Companies Incorporated. Doors open at noon for the event and Pence is scheduled to speak at 3:00 p.m. You can get tickets here.
