Police Identify Victim of Shooting, Say ‘Road Rage’ is Likely Motive

DES MOINES, Iowa – Police have released the name of a man shot early Sunday morning and say the shooting appears to be the result of road rage.

Henry Tenezaca, 26 of Des Moines, was found with a gunshot wound to the head around 4:15 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of East 9th Street. Police say he was taken to a local hospital for treatment but is expected to survive.

Investigators say the shooting stemmed from a road rage incident. No arrests have been made in the case but detectives are following suspect leads.
