Voters Complain of Lesser of Two Evils Choice, Yet Know Less About Third Party Options Than They Think

DES MOINES, Iowa – “Do I have to vote for either one?” If we had a dollar for every time we heard a comment like that from voters at our Cast Your Kernel booth at the Iowa State Fair, we’d have a whole bunch of money. Let's just say it's a reoccurring theme. But the very same people who complain about the two nominees from the major political parties wouldn't recognize a thirty party option even if they saw one, and in many cases, voters can't name third party candidates or even pick them out of a line up; much less articulate what the candidates stand for.
