Victim Identified in Deadly Crash in Cumming

CUMMING, Iowa — The Warren County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a man killed in a crash in Cumming early Friday morning.

Emergency crews were called to the 2000 block of Adams Street around 3:15 a.m. about a car that had gone off the road and ended up in a ditch. Officials say James Fredregill, 23 of Cumming, was killed in the accident.

Officials say Fredregill was traveling westbound on Adams when he lost control of his car, went into the ditch and hit a tree.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. An autopsy is being performed by the Iowa Medical Examiner’s Office.
