DES MOINES, Iowa -- Another rally against the Bakken oil pipeline lies ahead Tuesday in Des Moines.

This time, opponents are gathering to stand against -- not the pipeline itself -- but the oil it carries.

Members of the group Bold Iowa say they're concerned the oil could contain cancer-causing compounds and if the portion that's set to run under the Des Moines River ever leaked, it would contaminate water.

The group claims two Iowa farmers obtained samples of the oil in North Dakota and had it tested at Iowa State University. The sample contained benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and several other compounds that have been linked to causing cancer.
