Des Moines Police Ask for Public’s Assistance with 3 Unsolved Murders

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Des Moines police say they need the public's help with three unsolved murder cases.

The first happened on May 26 when 44-year-old Scott Perez was shot and killed in the 4000 block of Crocker Street. Police believe a silver or gray chevy lumina was involved. No suspect has been named in that case.

On June 22, 41-year-old Victor Robinson Jr. was shot and killed in a parking lot at 3720 MLK Pkwy.  Detectives say more than 25 people witnessed the crime, but no one is cooperating with the case.

The third unsolved case happened on July 24 at the intersection of 45th Street and Kingman Boulevard. 59-year-old Dennis Strable was also shot and killed while riding his bike.

Rewards are being offered in each case for information leading to an arrest.
