AMES, Iowa — Iowa State football fans planning to attend Saturday’s game against San Jose State will likely have to make different parking plans from previous games.

Because of heavy rain Thursday night into Friday morning, the university says all general public grass lots will be closed.

Fans are being told to park on central campus or in nearby paved lots. Iowa State says extra CyRide routes will be running to help get fans parking on campus to Jack Trice Stadium.

Cyclone Club donors will have access to parts of the G-7 grass parking lot but once it is full, donors with G-7 parking passes will need to park at Hilton Coliseum lots B-1 and B-2 or the parking lots around the Veterinary Medicine College on South 16th Street.
