Pedestrian Killed in Eastern Iowa After Being Struck by Three Vehicles

CORALVILLE, Iowa -- One person is dead after being hit multiple times along an interstate in eastern Iowa Sunday night.

It happened just before 9 p.m. near the I-380/I-80 interchange just west of the Coral Ridge Mall.

Police say a man was walking when he was hit by a northbound vehicle, and two other vehicles hit him after.

The names of the man killed and the drivers of the vehicles that hit him have not been released at this time. The Iowa State Patrol is continuing its investigation into the deadly accident.
