DES MOINES, Iowa -- Des Moines police have released a short video they hope will help them identify a vehicle that may be linked to the deadly shooting of a 14-year-old last week.

Police are looking for a silver Chevy Equinox that is seen swerving right and abruptly turning on to an I-235 on ramp. They are trying to determine whether the driver is connected to the homicide of 14-year-old Yore Jieng.

Jieng was shot last Monday while he was a passenger in a vehicle at 12th and Keo Way. He died over the weekend.

Sgt. Paul Parizek with Des Moines Police says, “But what we do know for certain is that this is a vehicle that we want to talk to, either the owner or the occupants, or maybe somebody else who saw that car in traffic or maybe someone who knows who that car belongs to.”
