DES MOINES, Iowa -- The weekend is finally here and the Iowa Event Center hopes to factor into your plans. Iowa`s Premier Beer, Wine & Food Expo returns to Hy Vee Hall this Friday and Saturday. Organizers say this is a melting pot for culinary enthusiasts throughout the Midwest.

“There are a lot of new features this year,” said Viki Arias, Beer, Wine and Food Expo. “We have over 50 new exhibitors.”

Visitors can stroll through “The Emporium” and experience food and beverage options like never before in Des Moines. This unique shopping and sampling area will include a large range of items including wine, beer, cheese, chocolate and much more.

Exhibitors will be on-site dishing up the secrets of their success. Also, alcohol and food will be available for purchase and attendees will be able to engage with more than 140 exhibitors.

Tickets start at $35 and include unlimited sampling.

”We have a military discount since our event falls on Veterans Day. So, it’s $10 off if they have a military ID,” said Arias. “We are also working with the Iowa Wild, so if you bring your Iowa wild ticket over you can get a buy one get one free ticket.”
