South Bend, IN

Fran McCaffery's first half technical seemed to inspire the Hawks as they closed the first half on an 18-10 run. Iowa led Notre Dame early in the second half, but could not hold it. Fighting Irish pull away, 92-78.

Jordan Bohannon led Iowa with 23 points in his first start at point guard. Freshman Cordell Pemsl added 18 in his first start. Peter Jok nets 15, but Jok had an off night shooting.

Iowa played without Freshman Tyler Cook. He broke the index finger on his shooting hand in practice earlier this week. Cook's out approximately three weeks. He'll miss next Thursday's Cy-Hawk game in Iowa City.
