Ames—Cyclones lose a non-conference game at Hilton Coliseum after winning 37 straight. Cincinnati forces ISU into the Bearcats style of play, and the Cyclones lose, 55-54.

Naz Mitrou-Long missed two potential game winners, one in regulation, one in overtime. Mitrou-Long had a cold night shooting, scoring 0 points in 37 minutes.  All-America candidate Monte Morris led ISU with 15 points.
