DES MOINES, Iowa — The fight to stop the Bakken oil pipeline arrives in Polk County court Thursday morning.

It’s a fight Iowa landowners have been in-on ever since refusing to sell their land. Now they’re suing the organization that made them — the Iowa Utilities Board.

Landowners say it was wrong to grant pipeline developer Dakota Access eminent domain. Thursday morning their lawsuit goes before a judge.

A crowd of pipeline protestors are expected to show up in support of the lawsuit.
