Payless May Close Over 400 Stores

Payless is asking a bankruptcy court for permission to close 408 more stores, which equals around 10% of its footprint. This comes after the company filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in April.

Payless is among the brick and mortar retailers struggling to compete with online giants like Amazon.
