IOWA  --  Governor Reynolds helped cut the ribbon on a 3-year construction project on Monday.

Reynolds and Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner celebrated the start of work on the I-74 bridge connecting Iowa and Illinois. The bridge is being replaced and won't be finished until November of 2020.

Budget troubles in Illinois could also impact that timeline. The state hasn't passed a budget in 3 years.
