I’m a multimedia producer for WHO-HD. I deal with the content posted to http://www.WHOtv.com and the station’s social media accounts. I try to make sure our users are having the best experience possible and they’re able to find what they’re looking for easily.

I’m a graduate of Buena Vista University but grew up in northeast Iowa and spent my summers in northern Minnesota. I love spending time outdoors and playing for the Des Moines Women’s Rugby Club.

  • Police Investigating East Ovid Avenue Stabbing

    DES MOINES, Iowa – Des Moines police are investigating an early morning stabbing that happened on the city’s east side. Police say a male victim showed up at Broadlawns Medical Center around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday with multiple stab wounds. The stabbing happened at 1310 E. Ovid Avenue. The victim is being treated now, but there’s no word on the extent of his injuries. No suspects in the case have been named and police say their investigation continues.

  • DNR: Guilty Plea in Trophy Buck Poaching Case

    GREENE COUNTY, Iowa — A Jefferson man has pleaded guilty in connection with a poaching case involving a trophy buck. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources says 41-year-old Brett Cranston has pleaded guilty trespassing while deer hunting, using a motor vehicle to hunt deer, and shooting within 200 yards of a residence.   • Jasper County Courthouse Evacuated After Bomb Threat Called In

    NEWTON, Iowa – A bomb threat forced the evacuation of the Jasper County Courthouse Thursday morning. The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office says a 911 call came in to Jasper County dispatch around 10:30 a.m. and the caller indicated a bomb was in the courthouse. Officials evacuated the courthouse, along with some nearby businesses. After a search of the courthouse turned up nothing suspicious, it was re-opened around 11:00 a.m. An investigation into the threat has been opened.
