I’m a multimedia producer for WHO-HD. I deal with the content posted to http://www.WHOtv.com and the station’s social media accounts. I try to make sure our users are having the best experience possible and they’re able to find what they’re looking for easily.

I’m a graduate of Buena Vista University but grew up in northeast Iowa and spent my summers in northern Minnesota. I love spending time outdoors and playing for the Des Moines Women’s Rugby Club.

    DES MOINES, Iowa – Police have released the name of a man killed in a shooting Tuesday night. Twenty-year-old Augustin Kouh was found dead in the 800 block of Shawnee Avenue around 6:40 p.m. Police say they were called to the area on a report of a shooting. Another shooting victim, 18-year-old Nelson Atary, drove himself to Mercy Hospital while officers were investigating the first crime scene, and they quickly determined the two shootings were related.     DES MOINES, Iowa – A person wanted by police in connection with a Des Moines murder has been arrested and is in the Polk County Jail.     DES MOINES, Iowa – Police have one person in custody after witnesses say a man set fire to his ex’s home Tuesday morning.     CARLISLE, Iowa – The oldest person in Iowa passed away over the weekend. The family of supercentenarian Tressa Bartholomew tells Channel 13 she died Sunday morning in Carlisle. According to the Gerontology Research Group, before her death the 111-year-old was the oldest Iowan and the 44th-oldest person in the world.     Police: Father Injured by Son in Stabbing Incident

    DES MOINES, Iowa – Police say an argument between a father and son ended with the father in the hospital early Monday morning. It happened in the 6000 block of Southwest 14th just before 2:00 a.m. Police tell us a father and son got into a fight and the father ended up with a minor stab wound on his chest. He was transported to the hospital for treatment. No charges have been filed yet in the case.
