    BOONE COUNTY, Iowa — A car pulled over for going 93mph in a 65mph zone had two small children unrestrained in the car, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office said. The driver of the car and the children’s mother were both arrested.     DES MOINES, Iowa — Iowa’s average household income was a little under $50,000 at the last check but that pales into insignificance compared to the richest across the nation. A new interactive map created by real estate blog Movoto has identified the richest people in each state. Adel native Harry Stine tops the list for Iowa with a personal wealth of $3 billion.     ‘Predatory’ Military Lender Told to Forgive Iowans’ Debt

    DES MOINES, Iowa – Over 100 current and former Iowan service members are set for some debt relief. Attorney General Tom Miller announced Tuesday that military consumer lender, Rome Finance, will liquidate and provide $91 million in debt relief to consumers across the country. Miller says the lender, also known as Colfax Capital Corporation and Culver Capital, charged undisclosed fees and burdened service members with artificially high debt.     IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa basketball player Peter Jok was arrested again Monday night. The 20-year-old West Des Moines native was pulled over on his moped at about 11:45 p.m. Monday on campus for having an improper tail light, an arrest report shows.
