    Jasper County Courthouse on Lockdown

    NEWTON, Iowa – The Jasper County Courthouse has been put on lockdown after they received a bomb threat Monday morning. The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. Officials say the court was evacuated and will remain closed until they get the all clear. Sweeps of the courthouse are currently underway. Check back for updates.

    AMES, Iowa – A drug house charge against Iowa State University men’s basketball player Bryce Dejean-Jones has been dismissed.     DES MOINES, Iowa – A study has found Iowa has the second best drivers in the nation. A list of the nation’s worst drivers was compiled by carinsurancecomparison.com factoring fatalities, drunk driving, speeding, careless driving and failure to obey.
