  • Jackknifed Semi Impacts Traffic on I-80 During Morning Commute

    ALTOONA, Iowa – A jackknifed semi caused travel headaches along I-80 Wednesday morning. Two semis appeared to be involved in the incident in the eastbound lanes near Exit 143 just east of Altoona. The accident was cleared by about 8:30 a.m. and traffic is now moving freely.     NEWTON, Iowa – The Jasper County Courthouse has been put on lockdown after they received a bomb threat Monday morning. The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.     AMES, Iowa – A drug house charge against Iowa State University men’s basketball player Bryce Dejean-Jones has been dismissed.
