    WESTGATE, Iowa — The Fayette County Sheriff believes a man accused of child endangerment was violating a no-contact order by using a secret door.     Driver Killed in Morning Rollover Crash Identified

    URBANDALE, Iowa — A driver was killed in a morning rollover crash in Urbandale Monday. Police say at about 8:45 a.m. the driver, Greg Scharnberg, 69, hit a mailbox and then at the corner of 62nd and Meredith hit a utility pole and flipped the vehicle. Scharnberg was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe the crash was caused by a medical issue.

    District Judge Suspended for Being Drunk on the Job

    DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa Supreme Court has suspended a district associate judge without pay for 30 days after she was found to be drunk on the job. The court says Judge Emily Dean “arrived in an intoxicated state and could not perform her scheduled judicial duties,” at Henry County Courthouse in May, 2012.
