    The Iowa State and UNI volleyball programs are at the point you can pretty much pencil them in the NCAA tournament every year.  Both squads are making their seventh straight appearance in the NCAA’s. Round one today and the Panthers are in to the second round… UNI sweeps 25th ranked Kansas State.  3-0 The #15 Cyclones will take the court at Hilton in just over an hour against Indiana Purdue-Fort Wayne.  Highlights at 10.

  • GIRLS BASKETBALL: Des Moines East Looks To Build Confidence

    Just one week in to the girls basketball season we already have a big upset.  Des Moines East knocked off top ranked Southeast Polk Tuesday night 53-39.The Scarlets are ranked anywhere from 2nd to 6th so they’re expecting a solid season.  Runner up three years ago, Champs in 2011, the Scarlets have the tradition, now its all about building that confidence.
