POSITION TITLE: Account Executive
REPORTS TO:Local Sales Manager
PURPOSE FOR THE POSITION:
The primary responsibilities of this position:
- Sell new and existing commercial advertiser accounts on WHO-HD, WHOtv.com,and 13Now.com.
- Industry expertise/field expert in assigned business category.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB:

- The ability to forge and build client relationships.
- The ability to learn and adapt to a diversified selling environment.
- The ability to develop strong working relations with the sales team and sales management.
- The ability to sell new direct business and agency accounts.
- The ability to gather and organize field information.
- The ability to sell media using diversified market research tools.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Valid driver’s license
- Personal initiative, mental alertness, adaptability and accuracy.
- College degree preferred.
- Strong marketing skills preferred.
- Past television experience preferred.
- Successful sales track record.
- Good computer skills – Microsoft Office, Wide Orbit Sales.
