Good morning everyone. It’s been an exciting day here at WHO. Our morning show producer Lisa and her husband Jeff who is a photojournalist here had their first baby late last night. They named her Cassidy Ann and she is wide eyed and healthy. Congratulations to the extended Felton family. Seeing the pictures made me want to have another one… but then I snapped out of it when I remembered you only get 20 minutes of sleep a day for the first two months. In all seriousness… Congratulations Lisa and Jeff.

There’s been a lot of sickness going around the newsroom again. I finally broke down and went to the doctor yesterday after not feeling right for a few weeks. My throat has been swollen and I have felt sluggish (although that’s normal on this shift… so I didn’t really think anything of it). The doctor said, “you probably have strep throat… my last two clients had it. ” Sure enough… the culture came back positive. And of course, I would get it the day Patrick is off. By the way, I just want to point out to all my colleagues… am no longer contagious after being on antibiotics for a day. Anyway, I may not be the only one with it. Megan Reuther came in complaining of the same symptoms. So… bare with me tomorrow!

Sorry this is so short.
Talk to you tomorrow!
