A Webster County Sherriff’s Office vehicle carrying two jail inmates is involved in a deadly crash

Two people are dead and three others, including two jail inmates, are injured after a crash near Humboldt.

The three car accident happened around 6:15 Friday night.

The State Patrol says a car headed southbound drove into the northbound lane and hit another vehicle head on.

The drivers of both cars, 75-year-old Jimmie Faltinson, of Rutland and 20-year-old Kathrine Kofoot, of Bode died.

A Webster County Sheriff’s Office vehicle couldn’t avoid the wreckage and ran into one of the vehicles.

The driver and two inmates were injured.
