The overnight towns for RAGBRAI XL were announced Saturday night at Vets Convention Center.

The route will begin in Sioux Center and stop in Cherokee, Lake View, Webster City, Marshalltown, Cedar Rapids, Anamosa and end in Clinton.

This year’s route is the 18th shortest RAGBRAI in history at 471.1 miles, the 11th flattest route at 16,125 feet and the 9th “easiest” route according to RAGBRAI officials.

The climb in the first three days of this year’s RAGBRAI is equal to the climb in last year’s first day.
