BESHEY ARREST: Fort Dodge Police Officer arrested on charges of burglary

Lieutenant David Beshey of the Fort Dodge Police Department has been relieved of duty as a Fort Dodge Police Officer, pending the outcome of recent allegations.

Beshey was arrested on February 14 on the charge of Burglary 1st (Class B Felony).

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation was asked by the Fort Dodge Police Department to assist them in the investigation in order to maintain the integrity of the investigation and to avoid any potential conflict of interest.

Beshey was booked into the Webster County Jail and has a $50,000 cash bond.
