The group Farm Forward launched a project trying to end the “ag-gag” bill, as they call it, that makes it illegal to enter a farm under false pretense.

Governor Branstad signed the bill saying that gaining access to property under false pretenses is a serious matter and farmers deserve protections.

The new site, http://ag-gag.org/, says the bill “punishes those who expose abusive conditions on factory farms” and “silences opposition to the abuse of farmed animals”.

On the site, Farm Forward asks Iowans to sign a petition against the “ag-gag” bill.
