VEHICULAR HOMICIDE: Police Arrest Menlo Man

A Menlo man was arrested Saturday night and charged with Vehicular Homicide.

Twenty one-year-old Mike Beeler of Menlo was arrested Saturday and charged with Vehicular Homicide due to intoxication, Vehicular Homicide due to recklessness, Leaving the Scene of a fatality accident, Criminal Mischief, and OWI 1st.

Police responded to a 911 call that a man was laying in the road on the 3400 block of 330th Trail in Dexter.

When they arrived they found 23-year-old Justin Westfall deceased.

Police say Beeler was intoxicated when he ran over Westfall with a tractor during a party Saturday night.

He is being held in a Guthrie County jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
