A fight involving about 30 teens erupted on Des Moines' north-east side, and police blame much of it on Facebook.

Investigators say it all started Tuesday with two teenage girls fighting near King Park.  They tell us a teenage boy tried to break up the fight by firing a shot in the air, and that's when the dispute went viral...with dozens of teens fighting it out and one firing a gun in the air hitting a house.

Barbara Weston was watching a friend’s baby when it all went down.  "There was probably about 30 kids that came walking up and they kinda split up, some on this side, some on this side." Weston says,  "They were yelling.  And probably about ten of them it looked like split up and went this way."

And that's when the gunfire began. "I could hear them going 'no no no don't'." Weston recalls, "And then this kid pulls a gun out just like over there by the bush and it's like the first time we heard the shot, you hear one shot over here then we heard two shots over there."

No one was seriously hurt.  Police recovered the gun and arrested the teen they say is responsible.
