Des Moines Police are investigating a fight that we’re told involved more than 50 people Wednesday afternoon.

It broke out on the 1600 block of Garfield and spilled into Martin Luther King Park.

Witnesses say several shots were fired during the fight.

Police say the fight was a result of another fight Tuesday. Comments on Facebook caused others to come to the park and join in the fight.

One person was arrested after police say he fired a gun into the air to break up the fight.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.
