The bond for a Fort Dodge police lieutenant charged with burglary and stalking has been revoked and he’s now back in jail.

A warrant for David Beshey was issued Wednesday, stating he had violated the terms of his pre-trial release. He is being held in the Webster County Jail.

Beshey was released on bond last month and was awaiting the start of his trial, which is scheduled for next Tuesday.

He is accused of assaulting a man at his girlfriend’s apartment in January.

Beshey has been relieved of his duties with the police department, pending the outcome of his trial.
