University officials are bursting their own bubble.

Friday, the indoor practice bubble at the University of Iowa will be deflated.

The 27-year-old facility is being torn down to make room for a parking lot.

The old parking lot is now the site of the new practice facility.

The “bubble” will go down at 9:30 Friday morning.
