The Jarrod Uthoff situation, which became one of the biggest sports stories in the country this week, has finally been resolved.

And Uthoff’s next stop could be in Ames.

Wisconsin’s Bo Ryan lifted some of Uthoff’s restrictions, including Iowa State.

Earlier in the week, when Uthoff decided to transfer after redshirting his freshman year in Madson, Ryan restricted Uthoff from going to over two-dozen schools including ISU.

It was a public relations disaster for Wisconsin, so Ryan has decided to lift all restrictions except for Big Ten schools.

Uthoff can still play at a Big Ten school; however he must sit out a year and cannot be under scholarship for that first year.

The Cedar Rapids Jefferson alum was Mr. Basketball in the state of Iowa, in 2011.

Uthoff chose Wisconsin over Iowa and Iowa State.
