FLIGHT ISSUE: Helicopter Incident In Grinnell

The Federal Aviation Administration is looking into an incident involving a helicopter at the Grinnell Airport on Tuesday.

A helicopter was in the process of taking off early Tuesday afternoon when Grinnell police say it appeared to have mechanical problems and fell to the ground. Two people aboard the helicopter were not injured in the incident but there was damage to the helicopter.

The names of the pilot and passenger have not been released.

The FAA is continuing its investigation into what may have gone wrong during the take-off.
