Pan Seared Steak with Salt and Pepper

Goat Cheese Crust Recipe

  • 8 oz goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 Tbs butter
  • 1/2 Tbs dry basil
  • 1/2 Tbs dry oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Mix all the ingredients with the goat cheese in a mixing bowl and make cakes by hand. Pan sear with olive oil to get brow and pour on top of steak.

Balsamic Shallots and Port Wine Sauce Recipe

  • 1 Tbs fresh shallots
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup port wine
  • 2 Tbs brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Saute shallots. Add port wine and balsamic vinegar and the brown sugar. Let the mix reduce to get thick and pour over the steak.

Gorgonzola and Sage Purple Whipped Potatoes Recipe

  • 1 lb purple potatoes
  • 1 Tbs fresh sage, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 lb butter
  • salt and pepper to taste


Boil the potatoes to get soft and whipped with gorgonzola, sage, cream, butter and salt and pepper.

Balsamic Basil Marinade Asparagus

Marinade the asparagus in balsamic vinegar, fresh basil garlic, and salt and pepper to taste. Saute in pan, until tender.
