Governor Branstad is recommending that Iowa schools review anti-bullying policies after the recent suicide of a 14-year old western Iowa student.

“It's not an easy thing, and I know this is a difficult area for districts, but it’s critically important for all of our students in the state of Iowa.” said Governor Branstad.

Branstad says bullying tactics have changed with the times and technology, so policies need to change with it. He says teachers and staff should know what to do when students are harassed.
