GAS EXPLOSION: Two Injuried In Gas Explosion

Two men were injured in a gas line explosion in Northwest Iowa Wednesday.

Officials say two men working with trenching equipment hit a gas line in the middle of a field Wednesday afternoon causing a fire.

The gas line was shut off and the fire was extinguished at 3:30 p.m.

Seven fire departments responded to the fire where they waited for the gas line to be shut off.

Officials say the injuries aren’t life threatening.
