Thursday, protesters are expected in Cedar Falls for the Board of Regents meeting.

They’re upset about the recent decision to cut programs at the University of Northern Iowa and to close the Price Lab School.

The regents and UNI President Ben Allen say the cuts are needed due to a budget shortfall.

The lab school is expected to close at the end of June.
