Urbandale police found double trouble twice this past weekend, but were able to make arrests quickly after the incidents occurred.

About an hour after the first robbery in Urbandale involving a home, a caller informed police two people robbed a convenience store. It happened just after 9 p.m. at the Git-N-Go on Hickman road, about a block west of 86th street in Urbandale.

Police say they questioned 19-year-old George Douglas and 21-year-old Aaron Keller...but the men's stories didn't add up. A k-9 unit led police to the men's vehicle, where they found what looked like a b-b gun and what they believe to be the stolen cash.

Both men are charged with first degree robbery.
