Kyle Korver makes his NBA living from long distance.  And though he's more than 300 miles away from Pella, he's going the distance to help his hometown

Three months ago Kyle and his brother Klayton saw family friend Blake Van Vark before a Bulls game.

Several weeks later, the 16-year old Van Vark was killed in a car accident.

To honor Blake, Kyle donated 7,000 shirts from his Seer clothing line and signed memorabilia.  The Korver family will donate the proceeds to the new Pella Sports Complex, and a memorial to Blake.

More than an honor, it's healing.  Van Vark's family is helping sell the shirts.

From Chicago to downtown Pella, the Korvers are good on, and off the court.
