The Statehouse is two weeks past the scheduled end of their session.

The Senate didn’t gavel in at all Wednesday.  The house did, but was only in session for about two minutes.  Long enough to pass House Resolution 148.

That resolution honors the 75th anniversary of Melrose High School winning the 1937 State Boys’ Basketball Championship.

Insiders say budget negotiations are going on behind closed doors.

Both chambers are expected to meet for debate Thursday morning.
