A 16-month search for an accused arsonist ended with the suspect finally in hand-cuffs Wednesday.

U.S. Marshals arrested 25-year-old Robert Bell at a home on East Elizabeth Avenue in Des Moines Wednesday night. A police dog found Bell hiding in the home.

Bell was wanted for the January 2011 fire-bombing of the Deer Ridge apartment complex in Des Moines. The Molotov cocktail type bombs damaged two cars in the apartment parking lot.
