HOME HOSED: City Manager’s House Damaged

Urbandale police are looking into an act of criminal mischief that caused damage to the city manager’s home Wednesday.

Police say thousands of dollars in damage was done to the home of Urbandale City Manager AJ Johnson Wednesday. He says someone ran a lawn hose into his house in 4200 block of 162nd Street between 7:40 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help to find out who is responsible. If you have any information on the case you’re asked to contact the Urbandale Police Department at 331-6803 or Polk County Crime Stoppers at 223-1400.

A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
