This father's day is especially hard for Bill Wood's daughter.

Ten months ago their father's body was found inside his burned down home. He died from a gunshot wound.

Bill's wife, Kay, is still missing.

Both Bill and Kay's children say they have no idea who could ever hurt their parents.

This weekend the family released balloons in memory of their father, who they say lived life to the fullest.

While it's hard not having their father around, it's even worse not know who or why someone would kill him.

The family hasn't received any leads since last July when authorities found Bill's truck in Kansas City.

The family says it's impossible to find closure.

“We had a funeral and stuff but it still doesn't seem like it had his body there was a casket but couldn't see him like other funerals,” says Mary Gar, on of Bill’s four daughters.

The family is pleading that anyone who has information that could help them find their father to call authorities.

The reward for information leading to an arrest is up to $8,000.
