Principal Financial Group says it will host the Principal Charity Classic for three more years.

The company announced Tuesday morning that it has renewed the contract for the tournament, which generates millions of dollars for children’s charities in central Iowa.

At this point, the tournament doesn't have a home though.

This year's tournament was the last at Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines.

Principal says it is aggressively searching for a new course to host next year's tournament.

A study by Iowa State University estimates the Principal Charity Classic generates $20.8 million in revenue for the area.
