MULDER MOVES ON: UNI Alum Advances To Semi-Finals

Former UNI standout, Tyler Mulder will compete in Saturday’s semi-finals in the 800 meters at the US Olympic Track and Field Trials in Eugene, Oregon. 

Mulder advanced after finishing with the fastest of 32 qualifying times in the 800-meters on Friday night with a time of 1:46:81. 

Mulder will race again Saturday night in the semi-finals.  The top three finishers will make the U.S. team and travel to London for the Olympic Games. 

The UNI alum has finished 4th the past two seasons at the USA Track and Field Championships.  He comes into this weekend with the 5th best qualifying time.
