Erin Andrews is reportedly leaving ESPN. I tweeted that she would be replacing Andy on SoundOFF. Several actually took that tweet literally.

The movie, “Ted”, looks childish and profane, and I can’t wait to see it. Several people were tweeting, late last night, that they saw the midnight showing. One person even saw it at 2am! I hear good things. I’m excited to see it.

Rockets fans don’t seem too excited about Royce White and the teams’ two other 1st-round draft picks. Royce proved his doubters wrong at Iowa State. I’m sure he will do the same in Houston.

24 women made the semi-finals in the 1500m, at the Olympic Trials — a trio of them are native Iowans. Webster City’s, Jenny Simpson, was the only one to advance to the Sunday’s finals. Dowling Catholic alum, Katie Flood, and Tipton, Iowa native, Ashley Miller placed well outside the top-5.

I was just about to take my car to the car-wash…and then it rained. I had better luck than Andy. The poor guy left his windows open in his truck. I think there was a duck swimming on the floor when he got in.

I finally bought a meat thermometer. Now I’m not going to be scared to death every time I cook chicken breast.

I’ve never been one to receive many compliments. That all changed when I found The Tie Bar. Go there. You won’t regret it.
