A recent study has shown Americans are going to spend less money on their 4th of July celebrations.

The survey taken by VISA shows that people in the Midwest will spend an average of $211 dollars on their celebrations. The east coast will be spending the least amount in the United States with an average of $171.

However this doesn’t mean people aren’t celebrating the national holiday. According to the National Retail Federation, 68% of people will host or attend a barbecue during their celebrations.
