A woman released early from prison after being convicted of vehicular homicide is back in jail following a domestic abuse arrest.

KETV is reporting that Karli Brown, of Red Oak, was arrested over the weekend after a fight with her husband. She was arrested on suspicion of domestic abuse.

Brown was release from prison just last week after she was convicted of vehicular homicide in the deaths of two boys in an accident. Investigators say Brown was speeding, texting, and passing in a no-passing zone when she hit a vehicle head-on near Red Oak. Two children died in the accident and their mother was injured.

A judge suspended Brown’s sentence after she spent eight months in prison. She had been sentenced to two terms of 10 years. Her new punishment is five years of supervised probation.

Brown will have a probation revocation hearing on July 30th. The judge could also choose to reinstate her original sentence.
